If you know your internet history, then you fondly remember the Star Wars Kid and his epic lightsaber display on YouTube. Now, many years later, everyone is following in the footsteps of the Star Wars Kid thanks to the Lenovo Mirage and the new Star Wars: Jedi Challenges app.

The augmented reality headset and lightsaber device hit stores a few weeks ago, and now people are slowly beginning to upload their training videos. It's a funny and often glorious sight to behold.

Aside from video demonstrations, there are also a few users who took the opportunity to strike some pretty badass poses that deserve a look.

As you can see, this is nothing like those incredible lightsaber battles that fans regularly hold at meetups in places like Central Park in New York City, often wearing full Jedi costumes, making for an awesome spectacle at night.

But despite the occasional goofiness, this is one major step towards giving us a real version of that Jedi training simulation Luke Skywalker experienced on the Millennium Falcon decades ago.

May the goofy Force be with you.
